This is a super easy & fun kids craft. My son is so excited about having something special we made together on the tree this year. I did this with my nine year old son (Caden) it was quick simple and sweet to do just the two of us. I would suggest this craft for ages 8-12 with a parents guidance of course.
First paint your corks white & let them dry or blow dry them. Secondly use your paint brush to make the black eyes mouth and buttons, make sure you leave a space for scarfs.
Then take your fine tip paint brush & make your orange noses. The noses are super simple just paint a horizontal line. After that measure and cut about 3 inch thin strips of felt for your scarfs.
Then you want to wrap the felt around the cork and add a tiny bit of hot glue to keep the felt in place (only parents handling hot glue). Trim the access felt and then screw in the screw eyes. Finally add ornament hooks and add them to your tree.
Caden and I added our initials to the bottom of our corks.

2 wine corks
2 screw eyes
white acrylic paint
orange acrylic paint
black acrylic paint
red and or green felt
fine tip paint brush
a ruler
scissors
hot glue & glue gun
